The ground rules for using this website, and how an inquiry becomes an order.
These terms apply to your use of import.laxmiglobal.in (the "Website") and to the sourcing and import-support services described on it (the "Services"), provided by Laxmi Global ("we", "us"). By using the Website or asking us for a quotation, you agree to them. See also our Privacy Policy.
We help Indian businesses source products from manufacturers and suppliers in China. Depending on the order, this includes finding and screening suppliers, obtaining quotations, placing the order, arranging pre-shipment inspection, arranging shipping, and coordinating import documentation and customs clearance with a licensed customs house agent (CHA). The scope for each order is set out in the written quotation or order confirmation.
Information on the Website, including product categories, process descriptions and general guidance, is provided in good faith for general reference. It is not a binding offer and is not legal, tax or customs advice. Customs duties, tax rates and import rules change. Please confirm current requirements for your product before ordering.
Pre-shipment inspections check goods against the agreed specification, usually on a sample basis under a stated acceptance standard. Inspection reduces risk but does not guarantee that every unit is free of defects.
Customs clearance is carried out by a licensed CHA acting on your behalf. Duty and tax amounts are determined by customs authorities and may differ from estimates. You are responsible for ensuring that the products you order may lawfully be imported and sold in India, and for any registrations, licences, certifications or approvals that apply to them. We may decline an order that we believe breaches Indian law or applicable sanctions.
If you provide designs, logos, artwork or brand names for production, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that producing them will not infringe anyone else's rights. We may decline orders that appear to involve counterfeit or infringing goods.
Suppliers, inspection agencies, freight carriers, customs agents and banks are independent third parties. We select and coordinate them with reasonable care, but they act under their own terms and we do not control their performance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business interruption. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount we received for our services on that order, except where law does not permit such a limit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including factory shutdowns, port or carrier disruption, strikes, weather, pandemics, government action and changes in law or tariffs.
The Website's text, design and logo belong to or are licensed to Laxmi Global and may not be copied or republished without our written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any different arrangement agreed in writing for a specific order.
